HERE seminar “The Positioning and Distinguishing of Applied Studies in Montenegrin Higher Education Reforms” was held on December 5th and 6th, 2018 at the premises of the Rectorate of University of Montenegro. The seminar was organized by the national Higher Education Reform Experts team, supported by the National Erasmus+ Office, under funding of the Erasmus+ programme, within Technical Assistance Mission (TAM).
The aim of the seminar was to discuss the status and importance of the applied studies in Montenegrin higher education system, to exchange examples of good practice of the organization of the applied studies in European Union countries and to seek the possibilities for further improvement of such studies in our country.
The visiting lecturers from EU countries were Prof. Constantinos S. Psomopoulos (University of West Attica) and Prof. Volker Gehmlich (Fachhochschule Osnabrück – University of Applied Sciences).The seminar was attended by representatives from Montenegrin higher education institutions and by the representatives of the Montenegrin industry/service sectors.
