HERE seminar on Recognition of Prior Learning

Seminar on recognition of prior learning will be held on November 29-30, 2017 at the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro. Seminar is organized by National Higher Education Reform Experts Team (HERE), within Erasmus+ action support to higher education reform policies. Lecturer at the event will be prof. Hanne Smidt from European University Association (EUA).

Erasmus+ info day was held

Erasmus+ info day was organized on November 23, 2017 at the University of Montenegro. Rector of the University of Montenegro, prof. Danilo NikoliÄ‡ officially opened the event and addressed the audience with the welcome speech after whom the Head of Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro Aivo Orav and General Director of Directorate for Higher Education Mrs. Mubera KurpejoviÄ‡ welcomed the participants.

Overview of the Higher Education system in EU Partner Countries

The documents describe existing legal frameworks, policies in place as well as legislative developments and provide main statistical data. They were drafted by the National Erasmus+ Offices present in five regions, Western Balkans (region 1), Eastern Partnership countries (Region 2), South-Mediterranean countries (Region 3), Russian Federation (Region 4) and Central Asia (Region 7), in cooperation with the competent national authorities. In the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency the exercise was managed by the Unit A4 (Erasmus+: Capacity Building in Higher Education) in collaboration with the Eurydice Unit.

6th Ministerial Meeting of the Western Balkans Platforms on Education and Training & Research and Innovation

6th Ministerial Meeting of the Western Balkans Platforms on Education and Training & Research and Innovation was held in Belgrade on September 28-29, 2017. Meeting in Belgrade was a continuation of initiative launched in 2012 in Danilovgrad in the field of education and training in the Western Balkans region. These meetings are is aimed at identifing joint priorities at regional level, as well as possibilities for further elaboration of these ideas, that may serve as topics of interest for potential joint projects supported by EU funds.

Regional HERE seminar on doctoral studies

HERE seminar "A magic triangle of Higher Education - Funding Model - Research Capacity - Quality of PhD Studies" was held in budva on September 25-26, 2017. The event was organized by National Erasmus+ Offices as well as national HERE team in Montenegro. Seminar gathered around 40 participants frrm Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.
