We are pleased to inform you that 149 proposals have been recommended to receive a grant under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher education 2017 Call for proposals EAC/A03/2016.

The results of the 2017 selection of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programmes have been published. 38 new programmes have been selected, covering a wide range of areas, from chemical nano-engineering to documentary film-making and social work with families to tropical forestry. The total cost of the projects including scholarships is EUR 112.6 million.

Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), together with National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro and an External expert conducted an institutional visit to University of Montenegro with a view to find evidence and good practices on the impact of the projects on individual, institutional and national level. The visit was implemented on June 29-30, 2017.

University of Montenegro started to use an anti-plagiarism software iThenticate, best-known service for detection of plagiarism. Software iThenticate has been purchased within Erasmus CBHE project "Enhancement of HE Research Potential Contributing to Further Growth of the WB Region".

In 2017, 30th anniversary of the Erasmus Programme is being celebrated all around Europe. In order to celebrate this anniversary a series of events will be organized in beneficiary countries as well as at the level of EU institutions, throughout the year. Therefore, we decided to celebrate this significant anniversary in Montenegro, taking into account that Erasmus was the most important EU programe for students and staff exchange and today is a part of Erasmus+ programme, in which Montenegro participates as a partner country. It would be an occasion to present the results, as well as prospective of the Programme in the future. The event will take place on April 21, 2017 at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro, starting at 10h.

A kick-off meeting of the Erasmus CBHE project "Capacity Building of the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro - curricula refreshment, boosting of international cooperation and improving human, technical and library resources, CABUFAL" was held in Budva on March 24-25, 2017.

Workshop on financial management of Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE) projects was held on February 1, 2017 at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.

Grantholders meeting of the newly selected Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE) projects was held in Brussels on 25-26 January 2017. This two-days meeting was addressed to the representatives of CBHE projects selected under the Call for proposals EACEA/A04/2015.

Presentation of he Erasmus+ new call for proposals was held at the Faculty of Philolosophy and Faculty of Philology in Nikšić on December 6, 2016. Some 30 professors and students participated in the event.
