We are pleased to inform you that HERE seminar “Ranking of HEIs – pros and contras how is ranking linked to quality in HE, and EU integration process” will be held on May 14, 2019, starting at 8:30 am, at the premises of the Ministry of Education in Podgorica. The seminar is organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro and the national Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) team, with the support of the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme.

The aim of organizing such an event is to present a system of ranking higher education institutions as an important mechanism for quality assurance in higher education, as well as a mechanism for improvement and modernization of the higher education system. The seminar will, inter alia, serve as an opportunity to present the aim of the ranking system itself, its advantages as well as disadvantages, the legislative framework, as well as examples of ranking systems at the international level.

The seminar will be opened by representatives of the Ministry of Education, members of the HERE team, as well as representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office. Prof. Melita Kovačević, from the University of Zagreb, will be the guest lecturer at the seminar.
